Event Description: Local and international pilgrims will have the opportunity to express their faith through prayer along with pilgrims from around the world. See below for schedule...






Thursday 10th July  
12 noon Pilgrim House of Prayer opens.
12.30 pm Taizé chanting around the cross, led by a Brother from Taizé, France.
  “Gathering from east and west, north and south.”
2.30 pm Listen to the Word as it echoes in your life!
  “The Word became flesh and lived among us.”
4:00 PM Gather around the Bread of Life! Eucharistic adoration.
  “They ate and were satisfied.”
6:00 PM Taizé chanting around the cross, led by a Brother from Taizé, France.
  ‘The House of hospitality; meeting each other – meeting God.’
8:00 PM Meditate in the ancient Desert tradition.
  ‘Journey in silence to the heart.’
9:00 PM Pilgrim House of Prayer closes.

9.30 am Pilgrim House of Prayer opens.
10:00 AM Meditate in the ancient Desert tradition.
  ‘Journey in silence to the heart.’
11.30 am Come and listen in the Australian Aboriginal tradition of ‘dadirri’!
  “Dadirri is inner, deep listening and quiet, still awareness.
  It recognises the deep spring that is inside us.”
1:00 PM ‘From sound to silence’: Meditate to music from the faith traditions of the world.
2.30 pm Pilgrim House of Prayer closes.
 
Saturday 12th  return to top
12 noon Pilgrim House of Prayer opens.
12.30 pm Taizé chanting around the cross.
  ‘From the Song of Songs: love and marriage.’
2:00 PM Taizé chanting around the cross.
  ‘The overshadowing of the Spirit.’
3.30 pm Gather around the Bread of Life! Eucharistic adoration.
  “Eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.”
5:00 PM Taizé chanting around the cross.
  ‘The place of shelter; “under the shadow of your wings, I rejoice”.
6.30 pm Gather around the Bread of Life! Eucharistic adoration.
  “Whoever comes to me will never be hungry.”
8:00 PM Taizé chanting around the cross.
  ‘Going home.’
9:00 PM Pilgrim House of Prayer closes.
